PREVENTION

The Prevention Program at APAA provides linguistically and culturally appropriate HIV awareness &outreach to reduce HIV risk, increase access to sexual health , promote early HIV diagnosis as well as facilitate knowledge of HIV treatment . The Program produces HIV awareness resources both online and in print that are tailored to ACB communities to reduce HIV related stigma . EDUCATION & OUTREACH

APAA conducts both in person and online outreach to reach out to greater numbers of African Caribbean and Black community members across Ontario. We utilize various venues to deliver HIV prevention education and safer sex  resources to community members . If you require any of our resources please contact us .

Through our Community Development, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at APAA (Africans in Partnership Against Aids), and a source of much success for our Non-Profit Organization. SUPPORT SERVICES 

Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them. We evaluate our success in this field by gathering qualitative and quantitative data, and using that information to measure shifts and changes from our baseline measurements.
